Hire for and build inclusive qualities in all your people, such as commitment, courage, and intercultural competencies. Create values that start at the top that moves individuals from rhetoric to action. Take immediate steps to hire and retain more diverse leadership teams and ensure transparent, equitable pay.

Practices
Hold your business suppliers to the same standards you hold yourself, so you assess and grade them. Ask questions about their practices, push them to ensure they have fair and equitable ways. Require the use of minority firms is measured across every category of spend to provide a competitive and inclusive purchasing process.

Equitable Treatment
= Retention
As leaders and managers, your decisions and actions must consider the dignity and rights of each employee. Equitable treatment and respect result in talent staying longer, working harder, and having fewer sick days. This means expenses go down, and revenue goes up. The return to your bottom line will be one of profit.
